LESSON & PAYMENT POLICY

Effective February 1, 2013

SCHEDULING
Lessons are regularly scheduled each week in either 30, 45, or 60 minute increments. I highly recommend that all high school students take 60 minutes lessons. 

RATES
Lesson rates are determined by location, due to school district policies, driving distance, and/or rent policies. Please contact me for additional information.

PAYMENTS/LATE FEES
I ask that students pay for lessons on a monthly basis.  If for some reason this is not possible, a different payment plan can be arranged. For the students that pay on a monthly basis, payments are due at the first lesson of the month.  Should you have questions about the number of lessons you need to pay for, feel free to contact me ahead of time. For each week that payment is late, a $5 fee will be added.

BE PREPARED!
Please make sure you come to lessons prepared! This means that you practiced all week and that you come on time with the necessary materials (reeds, books, music, etc.).

ABSENCES
If your chid will miss a lesson, you must notify me at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a make up lesson.  If a make up lesson cannot be scheduled, I will credit you for the next month.  If you notify me with less than 24 hours notice or fail to notify me at all, you will still have to pay for the lesson.  Emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis.  If there is a question as to whether or not a lesson is scheduled, I ask you to contact me directly.  If for some reason I cannot make a lesson, I will contact you (using the information you've provided) to schedule a make up lesson.
